Teva not for kids
Jul. 6th, 2004 09:55 amWe were happy with Matteo's Teva sandals last year. So this year we again bought him a pair. This pair seems less resistant then the one of last year: after only 2 weeks the velcro came lose. So we returned to the shop where they were happy to send it back to the factory to have it repaired, which would take 6 weeks.
Now for the people without children of about 2: in 6 weeks the foot might have grown several sizes, so it would be likely that the shoes at the moment of being repaired would be way too small.
So they will be fixed by a local guy, and we won't get more Teva's until Matteo is old enough that he can miss his shoes for 6 weeks. Hmm. Next decade maybe?
Good shoes, stupid warranty clause.
