1 When did you first realise you liked Common Lisp?
When I tried to move back to Fortran and was cursing all the time. Things did not improve with Mathematica, C++ or Modula-II. Never even tried Java. Now I think I could stand learning Erlang, but all other languages just seem to miss something.
2 What is you opinion on the (occassionally seen) Belgium jokes?
They are a mystery to me. Except the one in HHGTTG they are as un-funny as 'knock-knock' jokes.
3 Would you rather be menaced by the Borg or by Vandemar and Croup? (both refer to locution or interlocution)?
google... oh that series... Hmm. The Borg, they do it without feeling.
4 In as much detail as you want, describe your attitude to salty licorice (dubbel zout can be taken as a representative of the class)?
Ah. I love 'drop', but as I like sweet things I prefer the sweet over the salty ones. Still one of the tragedies of my life is that Italians don't like it as much, so I almost never eat it. However if some drop does appear at home it does mean it is all for mmmeeee!
5 Have you poked at Go yet? Ideally describe your impression.
In the past I tried it against the computer, which was no fun. Fortune would have it someone at work (Hi Alain!) not only like to play Go, but also has a board there. So we did manage to play one game, which I should repeat. The game itself was nice because I realised that I could not think to a solution and I just went into strategic thinking without knowing how to play tactically. That was refreshing, still I got beaten badly :-)
Still I think I would need quite an amount of time before I could play it decently.
