I Claudius

I'm watching the I Claudius DVD's from my mother. The series is better then I remembered, I didn't notice the pretty good acting, not some finer points of humor. I do miss the CGI: there are no big crowd scenes, no animals at the games, etc. In fact we almost only see the main actors, it looks more like a play then a roman-era movie :-). What a good change from Gladiator :-).

I should really find some time to read some classics again...
