A few weeks ago I wanted to redo the roof of our garden shed. As usual this turned into a slightly bigger affair then I expected: the roof was too rotten to stand on, the circle saw's blade got ruined immediately, the blade is of a non-standard size that nobody seems to carry, the wood boards were too big for my car, etc etc.

After all this today I assembled the first part of the root, went on it and to my shock it did not collapse (!). So tomorrow I should do the remainder of the skeleton (I ran out of nails, of course), and before the weekend I should put the roof material itself on (a kind of waving, bitumen based board).

All of this means little or none Debian and CL work...

I'm glad

I'm glad too see that i'm not the only one for whom such little tasks always seem to evolve in to real crusades, fighting with the wrong tools and driving to the 'brico' every few hours because i forgot to buy this or that set of screws..

Keep up the good work
