and unexpected sight

Today I just turned off the highway and was driving into the office when I saw something on the road.

There are a lot of rabbits around the offices, but this wasn't a rabbit. Slowly crossing the busy road without regards for the cars was a fox!

European integration at last!

At work I often see traffic fines because they are often in an obscure local language (Dutch) and my colleagues need to find out where to send the money.

Today someone came with such a letter, something was strange about it. I look closer and I see that the letter (in Dutch) is from an Italian village (!). This leads me to European Municipality Outsourcing which seems to be designed to get fines from tourists.

They have a nice site, you can pay with CC or via IBAN. And here I was thinking that the Italian economy was beyond hope and going down the drain...
