For quite some time I had a beard, a few weeks ago I shaved it off and had been using a mach-3 shaver to keep it down. I always thought that an electric shaver would suit me and my lack of coordination better, but I disliked the Philips shaver I inherited from my grandfather a lot, so I went out and bought a Braun 7015. It is a nice shaver, without batteries to get worn out and seems to shave me smoother then I even got with the mach-3. I think this is because with wet-shaving I can only go with the growth of the hair, otherwise it is just too painful. With the braun I can go against the growth without problems.

I got this shaver at a local shop where I know I payed "too much" for it. I could have gotten the same shaver cheaper at one of the mega-stores, but this shop has one redeeming feature: service. When the ladyshave of my wife died it took them 3 weeks to find a replacement battery, but they found it; when the old tv of my mother lost colors it took them 15 minutes of searching, but they found the defective transistor (old, old tv). When I bought the shaver there was a shaver lying there from the late 1950's that the shopkeeper was trying to find blades for. It is no wonder a large part of the village buys their appliances there.

If only computer shops would still give that service...
