Skype and sorting

pvaneyndThis weekend we tried using Skipe-out and actually we had to tell people we were using it. It is pretty good and a lot cheaper then the normal carriers. Now we're looking to dump the normal phone connection and only have ADSL at home.
I also started cleaning up the administration papers. Everything "normal" older then 5 years gets dumped. This should make it all a lot simpler. Related I looked at the bank this morning how much a safe costs, and it is about 40€/year for 25dm^3. I should measure if this is enough for the few papers I need to keep, but I think it is.
While working there Matteo played a bit on frost (the big computer) but with 256MB it is a little constrained, so I'll look to upgrade that. Maybe also a bigger harddisk, it only had 40GB at the moment. With a little more memory and a bigger disk it can become a nice "play computer". And in a year or two we can buy the iMac du-jour for him (and me).
Now I just need to search for more educational software for debian.
