We rose early in the morning and got on the bus to Mexico city, there we picked up our luggage and took a taxi to our hotel (Marlowe). The hotel was in a busy neighborhood and the difference of Mexico city with the 'small' provincial town of Oaxaca was quite shocking.

We went for a walk to the Zócalo and then to diner at 'El Popular' which was quite nice.
