Depends on your intended usage. If you're planning to be there regularly (as in couple of weekends per month) it's a good idea. If you're going to be there maybe 5 or 6 times per year, it's a bit more work but a lot easier to find a storage (perhaps close to the camping) and take it to the camping when you use it. Advantage of leaving it at the camping is that you don't have to pack stuff away nor haul the caravan around. Advantage of storing it is that it's cheaper, and easier to explore a little and find a place you really like, or go to different places each time.
