Snails

I went out to put the grates of the BBQ in the garden-house when I noticed gigantic snails. Mostly Grote Wegslak (Arion rufus) and Grote Aardslak (Limax maximus), aka Leopard Slug. Initially we poured salt on them, but then we started to run out of salt, so I put on gloves and started picking them up. Not nice.

So now we have 2 milk bottles with snails. What to do with them? Are they garden waist?

It seems strange, but beer is a good snail catcher. Just place a deep plate or a large cup filled with beer outside; the snails love it, but they'll drown in the beer.
