Pasta con salmone sensa panna
Mar. 9th, 2005 09:54 amYesterday I cooked up a rather good experiment, so as not to forget it:
Take 200 gr of salmon, add quite a bit of water and microwave it. Start to heat the water for the pasta, I used De Cecco Linguine #8. Put the cooking water of the salmon in a small pan and boil it down a little. Add a little rice milk to the broth, about 3 dl. Remove about 1 dl of the broth and put a good 2 spoons of corn starch into it. This should turn it into a paste. Then add another dl of broth so that it becomes liquid again. Add the salmon to the pan and after a few seconds add the liquid. Then put off the heat. When the pasta is ready just add the contents of the pan with some salt and pepper.
It feels and looks a lot like the traditional recepi with cream but is milk, egg and soy free. The taste is not that bad given the ingredients.
