Undocumented Features

pvaneyndAfter reading a bunch of 'serious' authors from the Bean library I'm now reading Undocumented Features and against all expectations it is pretty good! I had feared that after reading James H. Schmitz or a bit of Ringo the story would disappoint me.
I has not. Reading it while in the gym (yes, you're reading that right) I had to control myself not to fall from the machines with laughter, and I cannot wait how the mother reacts to her son dating a manga character :-).
One of the main characters does seem very familiar to me...
